Leroy
We picked Leroy up and went to Jerry’s for dinner. We worked with Leroy and his wife, Bonnie when we came to the Care Center in fall of 2007 to volunteer. They worked with us for a good bit of that time. He’s had some serious health issues in the last year and his son thought that the Care Center was the best place for him so that the staff could keep an eye on him. He’s also close to relatives in the area and he’s always on the go doing things and helping out as best he can. Had a great time catching up with him. Leroy’s the “south mouth” and has lots of great stories to tell. Catfish, jumbo shrimp, home-made rolls, onion rings, coconut cream pie and a good friend…it doesn’t get any better than that.
