1945 - 2009 Linda B's brother, John passed away quietly at home yesterday afternoon. On Sunday, we took Becky back to Philly and down to Chambersburg so that Linda could spend some time with her brother. He had fallen several times in the last couple of weeks and was steadily getting weaker and more frail. He hadn't been eating or drinking much so we knew that he didn't have long. Linda got to spend some quality time with him Sunday night and Monday before he passed away. John was the oldest of six kids...a Vietnam vet, skilled carpenter and loving brother. He was fondly known as Uncle Grumpy but all who knew him would tell you that he was a big teddy bear who's bark was worse than his bite. He'll be missed!

Brother John
